Manchester United Sends Javier Hernandez to Real Madrid on Loan

hernandezReal Madrid have agreed terms with Manchester United over a loan move for striker Javier Hernandez that will give the 26 year old more playing opportunity. He sees Madrid as the ideal opportunity to prove himself, feeling that he was not given sufficient opportunities to impress at Old Trafford.

Despite making an instant impact upon his arrival at United in 2010, Hernandez has struggled for first-team football in recent seasons, with new manager Louis van Gaal preferring Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie up front.

Hernandez was sought after by more than a few clubs,.  Valencia and Juventus had been fighting it out to sign him.

The 26-year-old Mexican international has been United’s fourth choice striker for a number of years, and looks set to leave the club this summer through one deal or another.

Terms of the deal were not immediately available.
