Real Madrid President Meets with Agent for Falcao and DiMaria

Angel Di MariaFlorentino Perez the president of Real Madrid was photographed with the agent for his club’s Angel Di Maria and Radamel Falcao the Colombian striker for Monaco.

Falcao, who is 28, has long been targeted by the champions of Europe, who at this time have just Karim Benzema as a center forward who is recognized. This summer they sold Alvaro Morata to Serie A’s Juventus.

Real has signed one player this summer from Monaco, bringing James Rodriguez, Falcao’s teammate to Madrid.

The attacking midfielder shortly after signing to play for Madrid said Falcao owns a winner’s mentality and that is want Madrid is looking for.

Leandro Jardim the manager at Monaco told sports reporters over the past weekend that Falcao would be with his club this season. Falcao himself said that he was focused 110% on Monaco.

However, the meeting with Perez, the director general of Real Jose Angel Sanchez and Jorge Mendes the player’s agent at a restaurant near the Bernabeu is a big indication that there could be a deal made to bring the Colombian to Madrid.

A Madrid daily said that Perez does not make a regular visit to the offices of Real unless he has high-level, specific business to take care of.

DiMaria has constantly been linked with a move from Madrid this summer. Monaco has been linked on a number of occasions with a possible bid for the attacker from Argentina.

Nevertheless, Paris Saint-Germain, the defending champions of Ligue 1 in France, remains interested in the Argentine. The 26-year old Di Maria could possibly move to Paris to play with PSG on an initial loan for the season to help the champions of France comply with the financial fair play rules of the UEFA.

Real starts its La Liga schedule on August 24 and has until the August 31 deadline to make a decision on any more transfers.
